Rebeca Santos

Rebeca Santos is an undergraduate student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, expecting to graduate in the December of 2025. She is majoring in Visual Communication Design, with a minor in Marketing, which complements her knowledge and passion for innovation in the creative field. As a visual communicator and marketer, Rebeca strives to connect the research field with the public in an accessible, effective, and user-friendly manner. Santos’ professional career started in 2022 with RATES as a student assistant through a partnership with UTRGV.  She started working for the College of Sciences at UTRGV as a digital student assistant, in which she got experience as web developer, project manager, and team leadership. 
Some of the software programs from the Adobe Suite she uses in a regular basis include Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD, Premiere Pro, and Adobe Lightroom Classic. Rebeca aims to continue pursuing her higher education to become a well-rounded artist.
