Biography
Deanna LeVrier is a Financial Controller with over a decade of experience in financial management and grant administration. She specializes in managing complex, federally and locally funded grants for agencies such as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas Water Development Board, and several major Texas universities. Deanna excels in implementing robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and streamlining accounting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Her career began at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she advanced from Administrative Assistant to Accounting Technician to Program Manager. In these roles, she coordinated high-profile conferences, managed multi-source budgets, reconciled state and externally funded accounts, and facilitated compliance with environmental regulations impacting more than 20 municipalities.
Deanna’s expertise spans QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, iShop, iTravel, and CONCUR, and she is recognized for her exceptional ability to communicate financial data clearly to diverse stakeholders. She has led month-end and year-end closing processes, guided project managers through budget creation and grant compliance, and ensured timely, accurate financial reporting.
