Lower Rio Grande Valley Real Time Surface Water Monitoring Pilot Program, Edinburg, Texas

Project Description:

Monitoring a local ditch in City of Edinburg using a Real-Time Hydrological system (RTHS) that collects meteorological and water surface elevation data. In addition, the project has scheduled four monitoring campaigns where water quality and flow measurements are committed.

Objectives:

Bring awareness to the community about non-point source pollution and introduce a tool to help decision makers in their stormwater management 

Activities Performed: 

RTHS station Installation, 1st Sampling Campaign, 2nd Sampling Campaign, 3rd Sampling Campaign, 4th Sampling Campaign, Six Workshops and Final Report
